Episode 77: Dr. Jim Ducanto and Everything Airway

Dr. Jim Ducanto is an anesthesiologist that discusses airway management like it's the final scene of an action movie. It's very exciting, and your learn a lot without even realizing it. When we initially recorded this interview, we considered breaking it into two separate parts, but there's just too much good information in this show to break it apart. You're going to want to listen to this episode twice: once to listen, and once to take notes. Dr. Ducanto makes airway management exciting, and we're thrilled to have him on the show. As a fun bonus, at the end of the episode you'll be able to used to acronym BEEF SALAD correctly and impress all your friends.

Episode 44: Our Cric Show

We talk about a wide variety of all things cricothyroidotomy: mental prep and training, the difference in the techniques that are out there, which one might work better, and lots of other stuff. We also shoutout to a LOT of other resources that will help you to really understand this low frequency, but critical procedure.

If this is in your scope of practice; or possibly in a situation where a clinician will use this; you need to know about this to be able to care for your patient.
